IN THE CELEBRATION OF OUR STRUGGLES IS THEIR COLLAPSE



Claiming and maintaining alive the memories of anticolonial resistances is crucial for the struggle against European institutional racism, is crucial for understanding the long term battle against white supremacy and it’s violence while bringing to our days strategies carried out in the past.


In the celebration of our struggles is their collapse consist on a handmade garland that was tied around the colonial Delaware monument that vindicated Swedish colonialism in the caribbean island of Saint Barthelemy during the XVII century.


The garland resembled the rope usually tied around monuments in order to tear them down and each piece had an embroidered image of different moments of anticolonial struggles in the Caribbean.
