THE WHITE PRINCE AND THE RESISTANCE OF THE NEARBY PEOPLE

The power of colonial racism has constructed a positive idea about clarity, whiteness and luminosity and, on the contrary, negative notions about darkness, blackness and night. In this way, the way in which colours are understood, interpreted and used also responds to racist logic.

"The White Prince and the Resistance of the Nearby Village" is a coloring book that tells the story of the struggle of a nearby village against mining extraction, colonialism and the long night of 500 years, a long night in which the light was never turned off, a light necessary to sustain the extractive system. In this story of resistance, night and darkness are claimed as necessary for life and resistance.
